The trip in brief

A family operation, not a factory lodge.

The Majestic Charters is run by Clint and his four sons at Lawnhill, on the east coast of Graham Island. Clint has lived on Haida Gwaii since he was eight; the family put down permanent roots here in 2012, and now one of the brothers — Ben, Matt, Mark or Sam — is on the water with you every day of your trip.

It makes for a genuinely personal week: small numbers, a hand-built cabin, home-cooked meals, and rates that are truly all-inclusive, right down to the flights in from Vancouver.
